Well, well, well. If it isn’t the Reverend Franklin “Selective Morality” Graham, bravely taking a stand against... a gay couple on a reality show. That’s right. While the rest of us were wondering why the Epstein files have more redactions than a CIA memoir, Franklin was fighting the real evil — queer folks adopting children.

Apparently, the Sermon on the Mount now reads, “Blessed are the pearl-clutchers, for they shall inherit the Fox News guest slot.”

This post? It’s a theological gut punch and a moral audit. It names what so many of us have been screaming into the void: that Franklin isn’t defending the Gospel. He’s defending power — and wrapping it in Scripture like it’s holy.

So if you’ve ever wondered what happens when you trade your father’s legacy for a MAGA rally punch card, wonder no more.

Read it. Then forward it to someone who thinks “Samaritan’s Purse” is a legit excuse to sell out Jesus.

I especially love the “blessed are the pearl-clutchers” paragraph!

Franklin could never hope to be anything like his father—Billy Graham had a heart.

No, he didn't. But his son doesn't have a soul, so your point is kinda correct.

Billy Graham was a charlatan and a grifter. Franklin is following in his father’s footprints.

Okay then. I hadn’t heard he was a charlatan or a grifter—although we have the biggest grifter as president now. 🙄

What an asshat. Proclaiming what God’s word says on one hand all the while sucking up to on of the most vile people on the planet. I’m buying something from Magnolia and letting the Gaines know it’s because they “see” all people.

Franklin Graham worships power and wealth, not Jesus.

First of all, what makes Franklin Graham think God is male? IMO, God is androgynous -- S/He represents the best of both male and female. Second, if humans are created in God's image, LGBTQ people are certainly part of that image.

FG is a poster child for hypocrisy. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

I've always thought of God as a "two-spirit" entity - something like the indigenous term for a gender non-conforming person. I understand that two-spirit is a fairly new term, but the concept has existed for a long time.

.Precisely written! Well versed and my feelings on the mega preachers. They have lost their moral compass for the gain of earthly riches and power. You are correct. Jesus would be flipping several tables, including the resolute desk. We have an abysmal regime with hate at the helm of the leadership. There is nothing too low, so hate-filled, and despicable they are willing to gleefully do. They definitely have slandered the word Christian. As they aren’t any where near Christ like. Thanks for you truth!

Thanks for this piece! I have been waiting for someone to finally deal with Franklin!! He is despicable! He has disgraced his father’s good works and is one of the reasons many evangelicals are in the MAGA cult. And I’m so sick of him dissing on my LGBTQ siblings!!! Finally he’s been called out!

The fact that Chip Gaines called out Franklin Graham is the best news I’ve heard all day. We need more of this to reach those brainwashed by fake Christians.

Franklin Graham needs to be reminded that Jesus the Christ -- the force behind his livelihood as a pastor -- NEVER mentioned homosexuality. However, he did ask us not to judge others, to treat others as we want to be treated, and to love God with all our hearts. Jesus only spoke harshly about the self-righteous who would divide believers, drive vulnerable ones away with hatred, or in any way would try to keep fellow sinners from the love of God, especially for money and power. Which is what evangelical hatred of gays and lesbians does. The scriptural admonitions against homosexuality are from the Old Testament and the apostle Paul's letters. As all of those texts that have social evolutionary qualities, we must consider the contexts in which the admonitions were made. Franklin knows all this. But he also knows his annual income would fall dramatically if he spoke this truth to his flock.

Franklin Graham has been despicable for as long as I remember. Not expecting that to change.

I’m thinking -poor, pathetic, hate filled young Graham has some loaded issues with his dad.

It’s disgusting that he has his loud and cruel pulpit.

The most soulless individuals have attained notoriety by pretending they know and practice Gods way.

It’s very clear to most of us that love is Gods way.

I blame this man solely for poisoning the mind and heart of an Elder in my church. Years of reading and listening to Graham's dangerous diatribe has blinded so many people like my fellow church attendee. I can't even call him a Christian anymore...it doesn't add up. So, what are we to do? My Pastor delivers "red letter" messages every single Sunday from the Scripture. He has deliberately chosen Bible studies to emphasize who Jesus wants us to be. It is all so very sad. Fortunately, my knees still bend, my mouth sings praises...perhaps God is listening from His Holy Hill.

Poor Frank had a bad upbringing. He was taught to follow a grim, vengeful, punishing God. He was taught that turning away our neighbors in need is God's will. He was taught that God himself wants an evil, pedophile, sex abuser, liar, convicted criminal, and world destroyer to lead this country of America to destruction. What a strange and wicked god you serve, Franklin.
