Every woman who has survived domestic violence recognizes the tactics of power and control used by Trump and Vance against Zelensky: coercion and threats, intimidation, emotional abuse, isolation, minimizing, denying and blaming, and economic abuse.

I have lived with violence and narcissism all of my 65 years. I am so triggered I am taking blood pressure meds now. I ping pong daily. I feel deeply for all the innocent people who are hurting because of these psychopaths and their cruelty. One lesson I have learned is to first survive. Later we will need to heal so we can thrive. People don't know how bonkers life with crazy people can get. They don't believe in evil. I do.

I do believe in evil. It's a spiritual force that lurks in hearts that believe it's necessary to control others.

I’m so sorry you have suffered such abuse. I know how hard it is and now this - so many survivors have told me how triggered they are. Please take care of yourself.

IMHO, I suffered both physically and emotionally, and after more than 40 years after my divorce I will not allow that bully to enter my sphere, ever. But thank you nonetheless for your kind invite.

you are so right! And the gaslighting....you aren't seeing what you're seeing....you're seeing something else. I think you have identified something I hadn't, which explains my visceral reaction to what I see going on. Thank you for putting words to what I was feeling but couldn't fully articulate.

Took me a long time to understand gaslighting. I do know I came to the point I discounted my own existence. I thought I was losing my mind.

Agreed. And we just learned that Pete Hegseth, following orders, has ordered our cybersecurity agents to stop following and blocking Russian interference across the board, and ESPECIALLY that interference related to elections. We have discovered, painfully, who and what Trump is, and to 'bully,' you can add traitor as a descriptor. Now we have to figure out how to rid ourselves of him before it is too late. Serious question. Any suggestions?

I can't say much, but there are people from all over the world who know about this and have been working since January. They have expected everything and are working hard.

I've been thinking the same thing... but if impeached he would likely be replaced by JD Vance or Mike Johnson.

Teue, but I don't think that either Vance or Johnson has the malignant personal appeal of Trump.

True but wouldn't they be in the automatic line to takeover if Trump were impeached?

I am so angry. I will use that anger to fight this horrible inhuman being. Calling on everyone to do the same. Get active don’t just sit and be still and make comments. Start by attending your local legislative district meetings. Find an Indivisible group or any group that is politically active. Run for office or campaign for others. Don’t just sit there DO SOMETHING.

Going to my first Indivisible meeting on the 6th. Yup, get up and get active. I cut ties with X and Facebook. I know it's just me and one person won't make a difference but I feel like it always needs to start with 1 person.

"Be the change you want to see" A robust sustained boycott or National Strike would be extremely powerful. At the least boycott Amazon and ditch Facebook. Consumer spending is 68% of the GDP, it's our most powerful muscle to flex in the now

Our grandparents…our parents fought to make this country free…a true democracy. We can never forget. Now we must fight once again….but sad as it is…the enemy is DT…our President…and the deplorables around him….not an enemy from outside.

Send emails to your congress people…go to their offices…make our voices heard. Contact the billionaires who support him…like Jeff Bezos who once said Democracy dies in darkness. Only if we let it. It is more important than ever before.

We will fight and we will win…for loosing will destroy our democracy.

President Zelensky was elected by the citizens of a democracy and is a political peer of any other President. That said, the despot in the USA WH doesn't hold a candle to the President of Ukraine - in any form or fashion. Not as a leader, not as a man. If only we had a man and leader like V. Zelensky as President of the USA. We could change the world for the better.

Women are a strong group. Black women have been fighting this for centuries and can teach us perseverance and courage. One group who spoke out after Friday is veterans. They are appalled at how a war hero was treated in th WH. It may help us to identify groups who can come together to fight this.

Bullies hate being laughed at and mocked. In this case two small men are trying to use intimidation, ridicule, and shame as their cover when in fact their behavior is exposing exactly who they are….small men who have likely been bullied and now are using their position and power at the expense of others.
