I don’t understand how any person of color could have anything to do with this 34 count felon.

Saquon Barkley may respect the office but the individual currently holding that office does not.

I don't see how anyone, regardless of color, can associate with that rancid treasonous putin puppet. Birds of a feather.......

Barkley's athletic ability has given him entry to a privileged, largely white world, and he's chosen to check his morals at the door.

Spot on. Trump is removing his heritage from museums and he thinks playing golf with him is okay. Not a good look for Saquon or the education he allegedly got from Penn State.

Saquon, Saquon, Saquon…

You weren’t just golfing, brother — you were auditioning for the role of "Guy Who Brings Potato Salad to a Lynch Mob Picnic."

You didn’t just "drop the ball."

You spiked it into the faces of everyone who thought you might actually stand for something bigger than "vibes over values."

Golfing with a man who called for the executions of the Central Park Five even after they were proven innocent…

A man who brags about deporting children and snatching voting rights like it's a half-price TV sale?

That's not "respect for the office."

That's disrespect for everyone who doesn’t have a Super Bowl ring to shield them from the consequences.

You had a platform.

You chose to use it like a selfie stick at a crime scene.

But hey, "Have an amazing day, haters," right?

Just remember: the haters you’re talking about are the ancestors who bled for your right to be rich and reckless in public.

Catch your breath, Saquon.

You’ll need it to carry the weight of all those sellouts who came before you — and now, one more.

John, I’m a 78 year old black women who cannot understand how any one specially a person of color could ever vote for, support or associate with someone like FFOTUS! If Barkley really respected the office, he would not allow himself to be seen with anyone who was trying to destroy the Constitution of The United States! Without the Constitution there would be no Office!! Thanks for beautiful articulation of this situation!!

You are so sensitive to the nuances of what is happening. I pray that we can break down all the barriers that separate us because after this hateful era in our country ends, we are going to need to totally rebuild our democracy with all of us included.

Wow. As they are whitewashing history. I don’t understand how a person of color could do this.

It is clear that saquon barkley is an ignorant, self-serving fool! He is no better than tim scott, ben carson, omorosa, justice thomas, herschel walker, snoop dog, and many others who have literally spat upon the memories of our ancestors who suffered abuse and were murdered by people just like that insane racist drumpf! BTW-I don't capitalize their names because there is nothing proper about them, not even a proper noun. These betrayers are as common as they come. I have seen other ethnicities who have done the same thing by denigrating themselves out of pure greed and stupidity. We have witnessed ted cruz, navarro (nazi leader), enrique tarrio (proud boys leader), steven carillo (boogaloo boys murderer of the federal guard Officer Underwood at the Ronald Dellums Federal Building in Oakland), and more who have denigrated themselves and have defiled all that is humane. There is no excuse that can be given for his betrayal or any of the others. He claims that he was with him out of respect for the office, but drumpf has no respect for the office of the presidency or the citizens of this country. What barkley has done will never be forgotten nor forgiven! I can say this as a Black female who will always honor our ancestors by never cowering or lowering myself before such a vile person as drumpf. Until barkley feels the pain that people in this country are feeling, he will never come to his senses. That pain will come in due time, since we know that betrayal is drumpf's middle name.

Maybe no one told Saquon that one’s scruples are reflected in the company one keeps. Choices reflect free will and values, or lack of values, speak clearly. I doubt that anyone twisted Saquon Barkley’s arm. His entitlement helped him forget those who, never have a shot at even going to the Superbowl.

Loved this spot on message! I think massive wealth and privilege impacts a small number of people who otherwise would know what side of history they belong on.

Even specific groups find ways to break it down into levels.

We humans can find ways to rationalize anything. Not one of our best traits.

I don’t know what he was thinking. But, the situation is very disappointing. It’s a good practice not to elevate any of us to an extreme in our admiration.😞
