I am just sorry that the rest of us sane people will suffer right along with the bigoted MAGAts. We don't deserve it...

Without a “Hail Mary” act of courage on the part of those who still are in command, I believe you are correct with your essay.

This will likely be accurate, but is a bit early. I’m waiting to make comments until I can quote some specifics. Of which I expect plenty.

Thank you, John. You write what I feel but am unable to express in writing. It's going to be bad before it gets good again, whenever that may be. So many people chose to follow and embrace hatred in the form of donald trump. I am blessed I'm not one of them, no matter what happens.

Do you have a sense if you are preaching to the choir, or are there readers who need to understand the dire consequences of their vote for Trump?

John, I appreciate knowing I'm not alone with my frustration, exasperation. I'm hurting along with many. You voice what I've been muttering for weeks. Only claim I have is not ever using any title with his odious name. OO, orange one.

Thank you John. I am grieving everyday. I know you are too, but I'm so grateful that you still muster the strength to write these powerful letters. Your words always mirror what's in my heart. I have gone silent with my family because I know their brains (&hearts) have been rewired after decades of fox indoctrination & there is no reaching them. I have a wonderful husband, son & daughter in law & many like-minded friends but this has all thrown me for a loop. I will be 70 soon & I never thought I'd choose to be estranged from my brothers. I'm a retired Social Worker, so my heart has always gone into helping, accepting others, no matter what, but as you have written, this feels so different. This IS so different. Again, thank you for all you do.
