I heartily agree!! As a July 4 th meditation, I suggest reading and infusing The Gettysburg Address. We are now the living to whom Lincoln was speaking. Are we to let those who gave the last full measure of devotion have died in vain? Or will we take up the cause that those who died, not only at Gettysburg but all wars fought for the rights of the common people, thus far so nobily advanced?
Beautifully written, and I wish every American could read it. However, I don't know what we do at this point. The only power we have is our vote and new laws are even stealing that from us. What other power do we have? What can we do? Where do we start?

You know America is losing her way when a lot of countries are shocked by our wildly divergent Supreme Court rulings. But I bet Putin and his club of dictators are licking their lips. More opportunities to find those Republicans who will sell their soul and America’s secrets to-the top bidder. We must be diligent in finding countries, people and media corporations that are a part of the propaganda machine.
The MAGA-idolizing crowd celebrating the SCOTUS grant of near absolute immunity for POTUS should be extremely grateful that Pres. Biden is a decent man. One who will not use his new-found immunity to take 'official actions' to get rid of the orange person who promises to seek revenge on all who dared not show fealty.
Will said John. I stand with all who want this degradation of justice and insults to law and order to stop. No one is above the law. This is becoming a country (thanks to the SCOTUS and big money corruption) that I was not born into 78 yrs ago. I will stand up for liberty, justice, freedom and equality for all to my last day.
